Best Christian Podcasts 2020

Podcasts are a great way to connect to Christian preaching ministries and are so convenient and easy to access. When you have time and opportunity why not load up a podcast and be blessed!

People always ask what are the best Christian podcasts so I'll throw in some ideas by telling you who I follow and listen to on a regular basis. My tastes in Christian podcasts aren't limited to one particular 'strand' of theology but are more defined by the question, is it Biblical? These are not in any particular order.

Derek Prince Legacy Radio

There seems to be many podcast series by Derek Prince spread across the internet, most of them broken or ancient. It's worth finding one that's being continually updated and refreshed. The particular one I listen to is the 15 minute format. broadcast by Stephen Mansfield, author of The Faith of George W. Bush and the biography of Derek Prince.

Subscribe to Derek Prince Legacy Radio 15 minute format.

Just Thinking Podcast

The Just Thinking Podcast is co-hosted by Darrell B. Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker. It's a podcast discussing social issues from a biblical worldview. There really is some great stuff on there. Given the recent killings of unarmed black men in the USA such as George Floyd and Ahmed Aubrey it's worth listening to their podcasts on and around this issue.

Quantum - The Wee Flea Podcast

David Robertson discusses faith, culture and politics from a Christian perspective. Always topical and centred around the UK / Australia David brings us some really engaging material on current affairs.

Desiring God - John Piper

What it says on the tin, John Piper, passion for the Word. Nothing needs to be added.

Find Desiring God here.

Martyn Lloyd-Jones Sermon Podcast

Straight out, the good Doctor Martyn Lloyd-Jones is one of my favourite preachers. Must be the Welsh ancestry in me but I find his voice soothing yet powerful. Would that we had an MLJ in the world now.

Let My People Think with Ravi Zacharias

Let My People Think - Ravi Zacharias

I've always found Ravi to be one of the Christian faith's great apologists. His many logical and scriptural view on such a range of subjects is a treasure trove.

Greg Laurie Podcast

Greg Laurie Podcast

We sometimes look at preachers and think "yeah, but you're not living my crap life!" When you see what Greg and his family have been through and yet they have held on to the Gospel with such a passion then you realise how mighty a God we have!

And he's a living testimony to the concept of being bald yet cool.

You can find Greg Laurie's podcasts here.

If you have a favourite podcast that is a must-listen then let me know and I'll check it out.

I'm someone who came to faith as an adult after a short period of searching for something. I wasn't raised in the church or in any denomination so everything about faith has been new to me. You can read my testimony here.

My family background has been nominal Christian with a strong working class ethos. I tend to have strong moral values but am an economic liberal in the English tradition.

Happily married with 2 dogs, 2 cats and grown up children.
